I'M NEW

Welcome to the Mount Zion website. Thank you for taking some time to poke around and learn about our church.

Our desire is to be a welcoming Christian family who connects with our community, grows in our faith and serves the world in Christ’s name.

As a family, we want everyone to know that they are beloved. As Jesus loved everyone and embodied God’s grace, we want to do the same. We want everyone to know that they matter, and they belong.

As a family, we value each person’s gifts and abilities. We care for one another. We want to be the hands and heart of Jesus in our corner of the world and leave a legacy as the future unfolds.

Whether you are exploring questions of faith, seeking healing, looking for hope, wanting to grow spiritually, or looking for a community of people with whom to serve, I invite you join us and experience God’s presence here.

So browse the site, especially the information below, but also make a visit. We would delight in greeting you and welcoming you into our family.

– Pastor John Overman

We want you to feel at ease when you attend Mount Zion Church, so we’ve tried to answer some of the most common questions a first-time visitor might have.

Where is the church?

We’re located at 4685 Mt. Zion Drive, Enola, PA.

What time is church?

Worship begins at 10:15 am.

How should I dress?

Come as you are! At Mt. Zion Church you’ll find everything from jeans to business casual, to dresses to suits. You’ll fit in no matter what you wear.

Where do I park?

Parking is available in two lots located next to the church. If the first lot next to the portico looks full, there is another parking area available on the other side of the church. If you’re coming for Sunday worship, please enter the building through the red doors. Designated handicapped parking is available.

Will there be coffee?

Coffee and snacks are available just inside the doors under the portico. Feel free to help yourself! Coffee is also available in the Social Room.

What's the service like?

Worship at Mt. Zion Church traditional, but lively. We share our prayers, have special time for children, and hear an engaging message that is relevant to our everyday lives. Communion is celebrated and shared on the first Sunday of each month.

What's available for children & youth?

Children and youth are an important focus of our mission. Children are invited to participate in a children’s moment in our 10:15 am worship, and are then invited to continue in worship with their families, or join other children with Sami for a time of learning.

Mt. Zion Church has recently launched Families First Church, which is an exciting, engaging service for children and their families. Families First Church is a forty-five minute worship service filled with lively songs, traditional hymns, motion prayers, interactive stories, puppets, and moments of quiet reflection. This child-friendly service uses Scripture, prayer, and church traditions to ensure faith in God will always be part of your family’s life.

Families First Church gathers in the sanctuary on the third Sunday of the month at 9:00 a.m.

Is the church accessible?

Our portico entrance and sanctuary easily accommodate wheelchairs. Accessible restrooms are located next to the sanctuary. The sanctuary, restrooms, classrooms, and social hall are all on the ground level. Large print hymnals and wireless hearing assistance units are also available.

Who can I ask for help?

Talk to one of our friendly greeters, or someone serving at the information table in the Gathering Area.
