MINISTRIES
At Mount Zion UMC, we believe rooting our activities in our community makes our ministry more effective and our church more doable. We encourage you to come and watch our various ministries in action. We have no doubt you will find a few that call to you to participate.
We have missions that are focused on preparing the saints for the work of the lord and benefit our community and beyond.

Children’s Ministry
During regular weekly services, children of all ages are invited to engage in a children’s moment. Following the children’s moment, children leave the sanctuary to attend children’s church, which offers opportunities for the kids to grow in their knowledge of the Bible through stories, crafts, games and snacks!

Prayer Shawl Ministry
-
We would love to have your join our ministry of amazing sewers, knitters, and crocheters. We provide shawls, blankets, and pocket cloths to people at local hospitals or medical centers. They are also for those who have suffered a loss or going through a difficult time as a way to extend God’s comfort and grace. Our group meets the first Thursday of every month from 10-11:30am. Please contact our church office for more information.
